Description
This position coordinates, and administers quality assurance and quality control activities relative to our multiple client application systems and related documentation. The position reviews, analyzes and ensures completion of assigned Change Request actions such that all quality control actions are brought to closure.
Candidate should be versed in application development/maintenance methodology in general. Candidate will assist in reviewing requirements and technical specifications.
Requires 5 years IT experience with at least 3 years experience in one or more of the following areas: quality assurance; quality control; CMM/CMMI; configuration management; software testing and integration. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.
Experience
Required Skills:
- Must be experienced in manual, ad-hoc and performance testing.
- Must be well versed in multiple QA Methodologies.
- Must have a quick aptitude for learning new software programs.
- Must write testing conditions, scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Ability to document technical issues in text understandable by various stakeholder groups such as customers, technical team members or managers.
- Ability to schedule and track quality-related activities for multiple task orders.
- Excellent analytical, communication/verbal and written skills.
Optional Skills:
- Experienced with Serena/PVCS Tracker, Atlassian JIRA, or other issue tracking software.
- Knowledgeable of the SEI CMMI Level 2 and 3 practices
- Experienced with Quest Toad software.
- Knowledgeable of Rational Testing Tools
- Experienced writing SQL queries.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office products such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project.
