We are looking for a strong Oracle developer/analyst who is able to work independently and can
quickly pick up database designs from our clients as well as to help develop the databases for the applications we develop. We develop ColdFusion and .Net applications for both government and private sector clients. Some of our work requires developing ETL scripts to populate our systems (including Executive Dashboards).
Qualifications
- Knowledge of relational database design; Understand Oracle's architecture, Oracle Application development
- Experience in Oracle 9i and/or 10g database design and development
- Strong SQL skills, including writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages and complex queries
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Familiarity with SQL*Plus and PL/SQL query tuning techniques
- Ability to install and configure Oracle Server and Application Server
- Bachelor or Masters degree in related field
- 5-10 years experience
Preferred if candidate has experience with Business Objects / Crystal Reports
Preferred knowledge of NIH Enterprise databases - IMPACII, Data Warehouse, nVision
Preferred knowledge of NIH grants process
