The candidate will support clients in analyzing business processes to assist in developing IT strategies, and/or systems requirements. The focus will be on business modeling, designing and defining business processes, and providing client assistance in solving problems.
Preference will be given to candidates who are knowledgeable of the NIH Extramural process.
Qualifications
Excellent customer facing skills and a demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to deal with ambiguity and change
Strong sense of ownership and commitment to meeting deliverables
Strong facilitation and analytical techniques, such as structured interviewing, leading JAD sessions, Use Case Analysis, Precision Questioning, Context Diagramming and UML
Experience with
· Writing design documents, and developing and executing unit and system tests
· Workflow creation, business process modeling, analysis, and re-engineering
· Creating high-level business models, and working with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements.
· Data modeling, conceptual & technical design / specifications for enterprise applications
· UI Prototyping & design
· MS Word, Visio, ErWin, Rational, PowerPoint, Excel
Knowledge of Web based architectures (ColdFusion, .Net, Oracle, SharePoint, XML)
BA/BS degree, preferably in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business or equivalent required; MBA/MS preferred
