The American Institute of Physics (AIP) is a not-for-profit membership corporation whose mission is “promoting the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of physics and its application to human welfare.”

AIP was developed using Cold Fusion on an Oracle database. With this system, AIP is further able to accomplish its mission using various tools such as online registration, ordering, journal publishing services, student services and other programs.
